Updated April 2026

Londy Loans is committed to protecting your personal information. This privacy policy sets out how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

This privacy policy is currently being co-branded onto the Londy domain. The previous version was hosted at fintelligence.com.au. Final wording pending compliance review.

What information we collect

To provide credit assistance, we collect personal information including:

  • Identity information — full name, date of birth, residential address, contact details (phone, email)
  • Financial information — income, expenses, assets, liabilities, employment, bank account details
  • Credit information — credit history, credit score, existing credit obligations, credit applications
  • Identification documents — driver licence, passport, Medicare card
  • Verifying documents — payslips, bank statements, tax returns, BAS, business financials
  • Dealings information — communications you have with us, the products you enquire about, the recommendations we make

How we collect your information

We collect information directly from you (via our website forms, phone calls, emails, in-person meetings) and from third parties with your consent (credit reporting bodies, employers, accountants, lenders).

How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

  • Provide credit assistance and recommend suitable credit products
  • Submit your application to the lender(s) you choose
  • Comply with our legal obligations under the NCCP Act, AML/CTF Act, and other applicable laws
  • Respond to your enquiries and provide ongoing customer support
  • Improve our services and quality control
  • Send you periodic communications about rate changes, refinance opportunities, or relevant industry news (you can opt out at any time)

Who we disclose your information to

We disclose your personal information to third parties only where necessary to provide our services or as required by law. Recipients may include:

  • Lenders — when you apply for a credit product, we share the application and supporting documents with the lender
  • Credit reporting bodies — Equifax, illion (Dun & Bradstreet), Experian — for credit checks and credit history reporting
  • Service providers — IT, document management, hosting, CRM and email service providers under confidentiality obligations
  • Aggregator — our aggregator (Fintelligence/Ausloans) for compliance, audit and licensing purposes
  • Regulators and law enforcement — when required by law (ASIC, AUSTRAC, ATO, etc.)
  • Professional advisers — legal, accounting and audit advisers under confidentiality obligations

Storage and security of your information

We store personal information in secure electronic systems hosted in Australia. We protect your information from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure using a combination of physical, technical and administrative safeguards including encryption, access controls, secure passwords and staff training.

We retain personal information for the period required by law (typically 7 years from the date of credit assistance) and securely destroy or de-identify it after that period.

Overseas disclosure

We do not routinely disclose personal information outside Australia. Some service providers (including some IT and CRM providers) may store data on servers located outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure those providers maintain protections at least equivalent to the APPs.

Direct marketing and opt-out

We may use your contact details to send you direct marketing communications (such as quarterly rate updates or refinance opportunities). You can opt out at any time by:

Accessing and correcting your information

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to request corrections if it is inaccurate. To do so, contact us on (07) 3130 1674 or david@londy.com.au. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

There is no charge for making an access or correction request. In some circumstances we may decline a request (for example, where access would compromise the privacy of others or where legal obligations restrict access). If we do decline, we will explain our reasons in writing.

Credit information and credit reporting

We collect credit information from credit reporting bodies (Equifax, illion, Experian) to help us assess your application and to provide credit assistance. The credit reporting bodies' privacy policies are available on their respective websites.

You have the right to:

  • Request access to your credit information held by a credit reporting body — directly through that credit reporting body
  • Request a correction of your credit information if you believe it is inaccurate
  • Request that a credit reporting body not use your information for direct marketing
  • Lodge a complaint with us, with the credit reporting body, or with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC)
